Does it have free shuttle to Dubai Mall? How is it???
Upon arriving to Erica's,we were greated with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. After eating at the resort for 3 days the buffet food lost its appeal. We were ecstatic to try some authentic Jamaican cuisine. We were hesitant about leaving the resort. Everyone makes Jamaica sound so scary. It was my favorite part of the trip! Without Erica's we would not know the true Jamaican food experience. It was so delicious, we went 3 days in a row!!! I enjoyed the curry conch the first day. It paired great with the coldest beer on the island. The second day I got the traditional conch. The third day we had some Jamaican jerk chicken. DJ (chef and owner) also treated us to ackee and breadfruit. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the people were fantastic as well. DJ and Vivian were hospitable, friendly and genuine. Thank you DJ and Vivian for showing us the true Jamaica!
MoreLovely restaurant spot, genuine Jamaica, Mon!
This little resturant is a great place to have authentic Jamaican food for a reasonable price. Staff is very nice and helpful. If you are staying at Oasis Resort or Sampsara, this is just a few minutes of walk. Instead of paying money for not so good food at the resort, I would rather eat here. Their fried chicken and the vegetable stir fry is awesome.
MoreI am so glad me and my husband stopped here. The Food is excellent, some of the best we had while in Jamaica. I had the steak and hubby the curry chicken. Do yourself a favor and visit if you are in negril.
MoreGarden/farm to table restaurant is AMAZING. The cook/chef is also the gardener. All our vegtables with our dinner was picked fresh after we ordered. The food was hands down the best meal i have eaten in negril. Lobster chop suey is what I had, my wife had the garlic butter shrimp that was delicious also, the servings were plentiful.
MoreBest Seafood and Lobster in Negril! They have the best shrimp, conch, chicken, steak, pork chop, vegetarian and lobster dishes. The food was so good we went back 3 days in a row! You must try the Curry Conch and the Garlic Butter Lobster! This is a farm to table restaurant. They try to grow as much as they can on site. Ask for a tour of the gardens!
MoreThe food was good and the service was also good. I'd definitely go back there
Lovely food & hosts. A real Gem!!!!
This place is off the main path, and is definitely a place to stop at for a meal. The seafood is fresh, the vegetables are grown on site, the portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. The place is very small. We went there with a group of 8 of us and they were able to accommodate us. 5 of us got lobster tails, we received 2 large halves and 1 small halve each. 2 others ordered King fish and 1 ordered curry. We were all pleased with our meals. Reminded me a meal at my grandmothers house!
MoreWonderful food and gracious host! Lovely little restaurant tucked away.
Wonderful Dinner!! This local spot needs to be discovered quickly! The food is out of this world- especially the grilled lobster with garlic- they are amazing! Don't miss the garden tour after dinner- you'll be amazed by the amount of veggies being grown on premises- A true find in Negril!
MoreWe have now been eating here 3 days during our first holiday week, and it is just as good every time! Incredibly great food for the money compared to other places we ate lunch and dinner at and considerably cheaper, but with the same class of food as the more expensive restaurants.Very nice people who run this restaurant. We will definitely come here more times as we have one week left of the holiday.Highly recommend going here, is about 50m from the main road so it doesn't even take a minute to walk.
MoreIf you are looking for some amazing food a good prices please go to Erica's hideaway. Vivian and her husband DJ are one of the best hose I've ever had. The food is well worth the wait they make it fresh on spot for you. I went there twice during my stay there with my bf. If I found it sooner I would of made it a daily stop. Such a warm welcome. When I do go back I will for sure go back to see them and get some great food!!!!
MoreAwesome food and very kind owner
Erica’s Hideaway is a must go. Omar walks you through his garden to watch him hand pick your meal. Vivienne is the most gracious host. We will definitely be back.
MoreA true farm to table experience, Jamaican style. Warm hosts and a chef devoted to his craft. The chef not only cooks the food, but grows all the veggies on premises, which are ripened to perfection. The curry lobster is a delicate balance of flavors, spiced up to your liking and de-shelled. Highly recommended.
MoreErica's has been serving up some of the best Jamaican food on the West end for decades. They've moved their restaurant a few times, but only about 100 yards each time. The current iteration is about 2 minutes walk up a nice road off the main west end road. I've been eating at Erica's for over 20 years now, and it's always my favorite go-to for quality food and good prices on the west end.
MoreAuthentic and genuine experience from the welcome greeting we received when we arrived. To the after dinner garden tour where we saw where all the fresh veggies from our meal was grown. Highly recommend for an authentic and delicious meal in Jamaica!
MoreDelicious food, fresh out of the garden vegetables, lovely couple who runs this restaurant. Go there and enjoy is my recommendation
